Performance and Usage
This high-quality ultra wide angle fisheye lens offers an immense 180° field of view, equivalent to 12mm in 35mm format. The integrated lens hood helps reduce flare from behind the lens. Due to the very large depth of field, focusing is easily achieved by setting the approximate distance on the lens scale. For critical or close focus, manual fine-tuning via Live-View is recommended.
The lens is suitable for creating panoramas and 360° virtual tours, including full 360° images. It is also popular for special effects photography where distortion, exaggerated perspective, or extreme depth of field are desired.
