Blackmagic URSA Mini Recorder
The Blackmagic URSA Mini Recorder is an external recording device designed for the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K camera. It enables recording of 12-bit 12K Blackmagic RAW files directly to high-performance 2.5" SSD drives, including the latest U.2 NVMe media. These SSDs provide extremely fast transfer speeds of up to 900 MB/s, supporting recording of 4K, 8K, and 12K Blackmagic RAW footage at the highest Q0 quality setting.
Mounting and Connectivity
The recorder mounts securely to the rear panel of the URSA Mini Pro 12K camera, positioned between the camera body and the battery. It connects via a fast USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 interface with locking screw connectors, ensuring a reliable bidirectional data link for recording and software updates.
