The lens optics consist of 14 elements arranged in 10 groups, including 2 aspherical (AS) lenses and 1 extra-low dispersion (ED) glass element, which contribute to superior image quality and reduced chromatic aberrations.

Nano Coating System (NCS)
This lens is the first from Samyang to feature the Nano Coating System (NCS), a nano-crystal anti-reflection coating technology.
