Antistatic Coating

Hoya's newly developed Antistatic coating acts like a force field to repel dust, making it ideal for dusty environments and reducing the need for frequent cleaning. The hardened antistatic top layer is water repellent, stain resistant, scratch resistant, and easy to clean from smudges or fingerprints.

Optical Quality

Manufactured in Japan, the Fusion Antistatic filters use hand-selected silicates carefully smelted and blended to produce high-performance optical glass. The filters feature an improved 9-layer Super Multi-coating that significantly reduces reflections, ensuring ultra-clear, high transmission with virtually no impact on color balance, contrast, or image clarity.

Design and Build

The filter is housed in a lightweight, one-piece, low-profile aluminum frame that maintains perfect parallel alignment to the sensor plane for maximum sharpness. The slim design prevents vignetting on ultra-wide-angle lenses and includes front filter threads for additional filter stacking.
