The Rolux Battery Charger RL-4KS for V-Mount batteries is a professional battery charger designed to charge four batteries simultaneously. It includes a net cable and a 4-pin XLR cable, allowing direct power supply to any video camera with a 4-pin XLR connection. This means you can either charge one to four V-Mount batteries or power your professional camera directly.
The charger features 3 LED indicators: red indicates that the batteries are still charging, orange means they are almost fully charged, and green shows that they are fully charged and ready to be removed. To remove the batteries, the charger must be turned off first.
Usage RL-4KS
This RL-4KS battery charger is designed to charge your V-Mount batteries and provide power to your camera. Depending on the V-Mount battery being charged, it operates at approximately 3 to 4 amps. To calculate the charging time for a battery, follow these steps:
- Check the battery case for the amperage, for example, 6.8A.
- Divide this number by 3. For instance, 6.8/3 = 2.26.
- This means it takes approximately 2 hours and 26 minutes to charge the battery.
