The transmitters feature a built-in recorder for backup files. The onboard recorder features both 24-bit and 32-bit float formats so you never have to worry about gain staging on your backup WAV files. Recordings are saved to a Micro SD card, up to 128Gb in size. And Theos’ most unique feature is that the transmitter can be natively synced wirelessly from the Deity TC-1 timecode generator. Timecode ensures your backup WAV files will sync with your master file in post-production. Alternatively, the DBTX can be synced via the 3.5mm jack if you are using 3rd party timecode generators.

The black Deity W.Lav Pro is a miniature IP57 waterproof omnidirectional lavalier microphone with a microdot connector designed to deliver crisp, natural speech reproduction for film and video productions, even in challenging outdoor conditions. It’s 5.9 attached cable is terminated with a microdot connector for easy integration with a Microdot-equipped mic transmitter or to be used with microdot adapters. Microdot adapters from Deity Microphones allow you to adapt the W.Lav Pro to Sennheiser Locking 3.5mm, Sony UWP 3.5mm, Lectrosonics TA5F, Shure TA4F, various Lemo transmitters and Deity Connect. (Note: Microdot adapters are sold separately)

The W.Lav Pros pre-polarized condenser capsule offers an omnidirectional polar pattern with a wider frequency response and higher SPL handling than the W.Lav mic. The included foam windscreens allow you to overcome light wind noise and plosives. Being the same size as industry-standard lavalier microphones, the W.Lav Pro is compatible with common accessories from LMC, Ursa Straps, Bubblebee Industries, and more. And with new digital wireless systems, RF interference is an issue that will affect lavaliers. We added extra shielding inside the cable of the W.Lav Pro to help protect against digitally modulated RF signals that could cause you issues on your next shoot.
