The diameter of the sphere is 30 cm, so the light is spread nicely over the whole image and you will not see any strong shadows. The SK-DB300 does not have an exchangeable speed ring.

This prevents the diffusor ball from melting. Note that the maximum continuous light bulb to be used is 60W.
