The pilot can attach eg. to handle the tripod using the attached clip so you get access to change the focus, iris, digital zoom and recording start and end without interrupting the scene.
VG-1 is powered by two AA cells that allow for continuous operation, up to 40 hours and allow the device to remain in standby mode for 80 hours.
the V-Grip is connected to the camera via USB enabling an additional software update of the internal pilot.
