Cokin P Filter H400-03 Black & White Kit
The Cokin P Filter H400-03 Black & White Kit is a complete set of four filters designed for black and white photography. Cokin filters are made of CR-39 organic glass and ensure optimal light transmission for high image quality. The filters are extremely lightweight and are highly resistant to shocks and drops. The filters in this H400-03 kit have a size of 85 by 85 millimetres and are compatible with the Cokin P-series filter holder.
The P001 and P002 filter
The Cokin P001 filter emphasizes the yellow tones in an image and makes it warmer in tone. The P002 Orange filter darkens the colours blue, purple, green and yellow/green. The filter is very useful for landscape and architectural photography in black and white photography to obtain vivid contours. It softens the colour of the sky and makes the clouds stand out clearly.
The P003 and P004 filters
The P003 Red filter is ideal for improving contrast in your images. Green and blue colours are filtered out while red colours are emphasised. Clouds are emphasised more as if a storm is brewing. This filter is also very effective when shooting in foggy conditions and for creating moonlight effects. This filter can also be used for infrared photography. With the P004 Green filter you can create certain grey tones that are normally unobtainable with black and white photography. These grey tones add depth to your images.
