The Yongnuo YN204 is a medium sized overhead camera light using SMD LEDs. It generates high quality light with adjustable color temperature and wide beam angle. High power and wide beam angle The use of modern SMD LEDs allows to generate light of high power and wide angle of incidence. Light intensity at a distance of 0,5 m at 5500 K is up to 1300 lux. It is the high brightness and compact size that distinguish YN204 lamp from the competition. Adjustable color temperature Two types of LEDs used to illuminate the panel allow you to smoothly change the color temperature of the light emitted by the lamp. The available range of 3200 K - 5500 K allows you to easily select the appropriate color for both incandescent and daylight ambient light. Superb color rendering Very good color rendering is confirmed by a high CRI coefficient. This coefficient is defined by the value in the range from 0 to 100 and indicates the degree of similarity of the emitted light to the spectrum of natural sunlight. The higher the value, the better the colors of illuminated objects are rendered - they look more natural. Convenient control Controlling the lamp operating parameters is intuitive. Two knobs located on the back of the lamp allow continuous adjustment of color temperature and light intensity. Mains and battery powered YN204 can be powered by NP-F series batteries or an AC adapter (battery and adapter are not included). This makes the flash ideal for both studio and field use. When working on a battery, its current level is indicated by the LED indicator placed next to the flash switch. Compact construction The undoubted advantages of the lamp are its low weight and compact design - the panel thickness is only 2 cm (3 cm including knobs) and its weight is only 260 grams. Users will appreciate these features not only during transport and travel, but also when used on a camera, camcorder, cage or stabilizer. Wide compatibility A mounting adapter equipped with a cold shoe is included, allowing the flash to be mounted directly to a recording device or stand (also included). A built-in joint in the adapter allows you to position the panel at a convenient angle, and 1/4″ tripod threads located both in the adapter and at the base of the lamp allow you to mount it on a standard camera tripod and other photo-video accessories. Larger panels The YN204 is equipped with a clip system that allows you to connect several YN204 lights into larger panels.
