This Caruba 55mm Closeup filter set contains four close-up lenses with a strength of +1, +2, +4 and +10. The lenses reduce the minimum focusing distance of the lens, giving you a macro-like result in your photos. You can get closer to the subject and get a larger image size. The glass has a high-quality twelve-layer coating, which ensures very high light transmission. As a result, there is no need to extend the exposure time. The kit comes with a handy storage pouch with velcro closure.

Combining the Caruba lenses
Because of the double thread the lenses from the Caruba Close-up filter kit can be combined with each other and with other (flat) filters. For example, if you combine a +2 and +4 lens with each other, you have a magnification of +6. Combining more than two lenses is not recommended because otherwise vignetting and loss of image quality can occur. Due to the different strengths, the effect differs per lens, giving you more creative possibilities. The filters can be used on almost any lens.
