Adapteris atbalsta Canon EF objektīvus, t.sk. attēla stabilizācijas (IS) objektīvi un elektroniskā manuālā fokusēšana (piemēram, EF 85/1.2L II un EF 50/1.0L, kas vairs netiek ražots) vai Sigma, Tamron un Tokina ražotie EF objektīvi. Adapteris tiek darbināts no kameras korpusa; ja to lieto kopā ar pasīvām MFT videokamerām, adapteri var darbināt arī no ārēja trešās puses 5 voltu MicroUSB barošanas avota.

Canon EF to Micro-4/3 mount Speed Booster adapter makes lens 0.71x wider, increase maximum aperture by 1 stop, and increases MTF. The adapter features built-in electronics to control lens aperture by the controls on the camera body, and is also powered by the camera's body. The adapter is an ideal companion for Blackmagic Cinema Camera MFT or the mirrorless Panasonic GH4 models.

Advanced Optical Design
The Speed Booster uses an advanced optical design incorporating ultra-high index glass to achieve extraordinary optical performance at record-breaking apertures. In addition to increasing lens speed and field of view, the Speed Booster increases the lenses MTF (Modulation Transfer Function). There is a dramatic performance enhancement near the center of the image, but there is also a moderate performance improvement in the outer parts of the image as well.

Compatible with Canon EF lenses
The adapter supports Canon EF lenses, incl. image stabilization (IS) lenses and electronic manual focusing (e.g. EF 85/1.2L II and the discontinued EF 50/1.0L) or EF lenses made by Sigma, Tamron and Tokina. The adapter is powered by a camera body; when used with passive MFT camcorders, the adapter can also be powered by external third-party 5 Volt MicroUSB power supply.
