The JJC F BD Black Diffusion Filter are specially designed for digital cinematography and video shooting. These filters reduce the brightness of highlights while softening the overall contrast. They create a subtly reduced pearl halo around highlights, similar to shots taken with high quality vintage lenses. 

The filters are ideal for softening unwanted spots, wrinkles or other details in a subjects face, while keeping the overall image sharp to enhance the subjects appearance and produce the desired effect.

Manufactured from professional AGC HD optical glass with 28 layer coatings, the filters are anti reflective. They effectively reduce reflection from both the surroundings and the filter itself, with less than 0.5% ultra low reflectivity. They are water resistant, scratch resistant, fingerprint resistant, anti static and oil resistant. The aircraft grade aluminium alloy filter frame measures just 0.14/3.5mm in thickness, is durable and lightweight. It is slim enough to prevent vignetting on both wide angle and telephoto lenses.

The JJC F BD Series Black Diffusion Filters are available in two densities: 1/2 and 1/4. 1/2 density provides a moderate effect, while 1/4 density provides a more subtle effect.
It comes with a moisture resistant filter case to better protect the filter when not in use. ,
