Wobble-free camera tracking

The walimex pro Carbon Follow Focus Prallax Slider deserves its name – it is a professional tool with which you can perform wobble-free and gentle camera tracking, increasing the quality of your films considerably.

High-quality workmanship

The slider is extremely well-made and, thanks to precisely produced carbon tubes and CNC-milled aluminium parts, can also meet professional requirements. Thanks to the materials used, all three carbon slider models are stable and yet very light.

Multiple adjustment possibilities

To be operational in all situations, and on all filming locations, the slider has an adjustable boom with grating and height-adjustable rubber feet to ensure it stands securely and horizontally at all times.

Camera slide and rollers/bearings

The large camera slide has both a rubberised contact surface to protect the bottom of the camera and an in-built bubble level to make it easier to place the slide down level. The rollers, thanks to the very good bearings, run smoothly on the carbon tubes without any noticeable stutters or vibrations. Extremely smooth camera travel can be achieved with slider lengths of 80 cm and 120 cm, throughout the entire slide length. The carriage offers, with its 3/8-inch thread pin, the correct connection for a video panhead or ball head. On the front side, there is a fastening screw with which it is possible both to adjust the friction and to block the camera slide, for example, when transporting it.

Compatible and open to the world

The slide, thanks to its sturdy construction and high-quality materials, is really “open to the world” and compatible with many recording devices, e.g. with professional cinema cameras, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras / CSC, action-cams, smartphones (compatible smartphone holders are optional available) and video cameras.

When you need just that little bit more

And because we literally want to put on more, we have tested the maximum load-bearing capacity in the studio. And see – you can really lay it on: 25 kg (80 cm) / 21.5 kg (120 cm) – so, even with heavy camera equipment, wobble-free travel over the entire length of the slider is possible.

Well-protected when on tour

The slider comes with a padded carry bag in which it can be further tied down with two retention straps – the smooth carbon tubes and the light runners are always protected during transportation and when not being used to ensure wobble-free and gentle camera travel.
