This advanced adapter unlocks the full potential of Olympus OM lenses on Fujifilm X-mount APS-C cameras by enhancing the original Speed Booster design. It features a 5-element/4-group optical system with ultra-high refractive index tantalum-based glass, providing superior sharpness, improved corner performance, reduced distortion, and minimal vignetting.
By condensing light from full-frame lenses onto an APS-C sensor, the Speed Booster reduces the crop factor from 1.5x to 1.07x, producing a nearly full-frame field of view. Simultaneously, it increases the maximum aperture by one f-stop, improving low-light performance and enabling a shallower depth of field.
