Optical Performance
The Speed Booster ULTRA features a revolutionary optical design that sharpens corners, reduces distortion, and minimizes vignetting. Its advanced 5-element/4-group construction incorporates exotic tantalum-based glass to deliver exceptional optical quality across the frame.
With a magnification of 0.71x, it effectively reduces the crop factor of Micro Four Thirds cameras, enhancing the field of view and transforming lens characteristics. For example, a 50mm f/1.2 lens becomes approximately a 35.5mm f/0.9 lens with excellent contrast and resolution from center to edges.
Compatibility and Usage
This adapter is designed for Leica R-mount lenses to be used on Micro Four Thirds camera bodies. It is ideal for photographers and videographers seeking to maximize lens performance and aperture speed.
Note: Some manual focus lenses with rear protrusions (such as spikes or levers) may damage the adapter's optics or housing and require modification before use. Scratches or damage caused by incompatible lenses or poor-quality adapters are not covered by warranty.
