It features a large 1-inch MOS sensor with 15 megapixels, enabling high-resolution video capture with excellent depth of field and sensitivity.
The camcorder supports UHD 4K recording at up to 60 frames per second with 10-bit 4:2:0 color sampling and 4K 30p recording with 10-bit 4:2:2 color, utilizing the efficient HEVC codec. Full HD recording supports super slow-motion at up to 120 fps and variable frame rates from 2 to 60 fps for creative effects. The 20x optical zoom lens covers a wide 24.5mm to 490mm focal length (35mm equivalent), with extended i.Zoom capabilities for up to 32x zoom in Full HD.
Image stabilization is enhanced by a 5-axis hybrid system combining optical and electronic stabilization to correct shake in all directions, including rotational blur. Three stabilization modes (Normal, Stable, Pan/Tilt) optimize performance for different shooting conditions.
For professional audio, the camcorder includes two XLR inputs with selectable phantom power, allowing high-quality 24-bit PCM audio recording.
