The Blackmagic SmartView Duo 2 features two large independent 8-inch LCD screens housed in a compact 3RU rack mount design. It supports SD, HD, and 3Gb/s SDI video standards, making it ideal for post production, broadcast, and live event monitoring.
High-Quality SDI Monitoring
SmartView monitors provide high-end broadcast monitoring with advanced filtering and scaling to preserve fine image detail. The fully digital design with high-quality SDI inputs ensures precise color reproduction, facilitating consistent color management across multiple displays.
Remote Control and Network Integration
All screens can be remotely adjusted via an Ethernet connection. The included SmartView software utility for Mac OS X and Windows allows centralized control of multiple monitors from a single computer. Integrated tally support is compatible with many switchers and automation systems.
Compact and Lightweight Rack Design
Designed for modern broadcast environments with limited space, the SmartView Duo 2 is less than 25 mm thick, minimizing rack depth requirements. Its lightweight aluminum construction is ideal for mobile racks and fly-away kits. The LCD screens can be installed in any rack position and easily rotated for optimal viewing angles. The monitor automatically detects screen rotation and flips the image accordingly.
