Antistatic Coating

The newly developed antistatic coating acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust, making it ideal for dusty environments. This reduces the need for frequent cleaning and maintenance compared to traditional filters. The hardened antistatic top layer is water repellent, stain resistant, scratch resistant, and easy to clean from smudges or fingerprints.

Optical Quality

Manufactured in Japan, these professional-grade filters use hand-selected silicates carefully smelted and blended to produce high-performance optical glass. Hoya applies an improved 9-layer Super Multi-coating formula that greatly reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface, resulting in ultra-clear, high transmission with virtually no effect on color balance, contrast, or image clarity.
