This compact and extremely rugged camera is both waterproof (down to 31 meters), shockproof (up to 2 meters) and freeze-proof (to -10°C) and packs tons of features that make it easy to capture any adventure, from diving in tropical waters to ski jumps.
With a 4.6x optical zoom lens equivalent to 28-128 mm on a full frame camera you can use your creativity to get a good variety of compositions. Switch between landcape shots and close ups and rely on the high quality MOS sensor to deliver super detailed 20.4 megapixel still images or videos in 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels at 30p/25p).
With the Lumix FT7 you can frame your shots either with a sharp 3 inch monitor which is protected by a strong, tempered glass, or an electronic viewfinder that works great even under strong sunlight.
Built in Wi-Fi and GPS can be used to share your master pieces on social media channels like Instagram or Facebook and even have them automatically geo-tagged! The Panasonic Image App for iOS / Android makes it easy to transfer images from the camera to your smart phone.
For those expecting to experience night-time adventures such as rock climbing or cave walking, theres even a built-in torch light that can be used without the need for the camera to be activated.
Other great featues include 10 fps high-speed continous shooting, time-lapse, 22 creative filters and a Panorama-mode that works for both horizontal and vertical panoramic images. And to make things even easier when you're travelling, the Lumix FT7 can be recharged via USB - just like your smart phone!
