Byomic Stereo Microscope BYO-ST2

The Byomic Stereo Microscope BYO-ST2 is designed for ease of use, making it suitable for beginners, primary schools, and early secondary education. It features a fixed 2x objective magnification combined with 10x wide-angle eyepieces, resulting in a total magnification of 20x.

Body

The microscope has a robust metal body with an integrated specimen stage measuring 110 by 75 mm. It includes two solid clamps to secure specimens firmly during observation. The stage is equipped with a 60 mm diameter contrast plate, which is white on one side and black on the other, enhancing specimen visibility.

Eyepieces

Equipped with two wide-angle eyepieces, the BYO-ST2 offers a large field of view and excellent depth of field. The eyepieces are set at a 45° viewing angle for comfortable, natural observation. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 54 and 76 mm to accommodate different users. Additionally, the left eyepiece features a diopter adjustment ring to fine-tune focus according to individual eyesight.

Premium rubber eyecups are included, which slide over the eyepieces to block out peripheral distractions and help maintain the correct eye-to-lens distance for optimal viewing comfort.

Applications

The BYO-ST2 is ideal for examining stamps, coins, plants, insects, minerals, gemstones, and small animals. It is also suitable for detailed work such as electronics assembly and soldering on circuit boards.

The microscope accepts interchangeable eyepieces with a 23 mm diameter, allowing for different magnifications. Note that two eyepieces must be ordered for stereo viewing.
