The SmallRig 4977 HawkLock Quick Release Cage for Canon EOS R5 Mark II has been carefully crafted to provide comprehensive protection and a wide range of expansion interfaces for your camera. The cage secures the camera in place with a single 1/4 20 screw at the base and two positioning blocks at the sides, with built in silicone pads to prevent scratching the camera.

Always access
The cage provides unobstructed access to all the cameras buttons, slots, screen, battery compartment and other interfaces. The cage also features a built in HawkLock quick release patented structure, which allows quick and secure one touch attachment with a self locking mechanism, eliminating the need for additional bracing. The bi directional mounting design allows free orientation of the installation.


Multiple expansion interfaces
The top and sides of the cage are fitted with H21 NATO rails, allowing accessories such as top handles (ID 4483, 3766), monitor mounts (ID 2904B) and magic arms (ID 3874) to be quickly attached to expand monitoring capabilities. It also features multiple 1/4 20 screw holes and 1/4 20 mounting holes for compatibility with side handles (ID 2093, 4346) and other accessories. It supports the extension of accessories such as magic arms (ID 3874, 3875), monitor brackets (ID 2904B), Manfrotto ground plates (ID 1280, 2458), L shaped mounting plates (ID MD4360) and others. The right side of the cage features double horizontal holes with 1/4 20 threads for attaching tripods (ID 3989), ensuring stability during vertical shooting.


Compatible with accessories
The cage has regular strap slots compatible with wrist straps (ID 3848, 2456), an innovative strap slot for hanging down for additional lens protection, and a QD interface compatible with QD quick release shoulder straps (ID 4118).


Arca Swiss 
The Arca Swiss quick release base plate allows for direct attachment to Arca type tripods (ID 4060, 4353) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilisers, allowing quick transitions between stabiliser, handheld and tripod setups. In addition, the cage has a magnetic dual head key on the bottom for easy assembly and disassembly.,
