SMALLRIG 4978 CAGE FOR CANON EOS R5 MARK II

The SmallRig 4978 Cage for Canon EOS R5 Mark II has been carefully crafted to provide comprehensive protection and a wide range of expansion interfaces for your camera. The cage features a secure locking mechanism with a 1/4 20 screw at the bottom and two side blocks, along with integrated silicone pads to prevent scratching your camera. Designed with precision, the cage does not obstruct access to the cameras buttons, interfaces, dials, flip screen, battery compartment or card slot.

Multiple expansion interfaces
The cage features multiple 1/4 20 screw holes and 1/4 20 mounting holes for compatibility with additional accessories such as side handles (ID 2093, 4346), magic arms (ID 3874, 3875), monitor mounts (ID 2904B), Manfrotto base plates (ID 1280, 2458) and L shaped mounting plates (ID MD4360). The cage also includes a cold shoe attachment for attaching microphones and lighting accessories.


The cage has regular strap slots compatible with wrist straps (ID 3848, 2456), an innovative strap slot for hanging down for additional lens protection, and a QD interface compatible with QD quick release shoulder straps (ID 4118).


Built in Arca Swiss quick release base plate 
The Arca Swiss quick release base plate allows for direct attachment to Arca type tripods (ID 4060, 4353) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilisers, allowing quick transitions between stabiliser, handheld and tripod setups. In addition, the cage has a magnetic double head key on the bottom for easy assembly and disassembly.
