The SmallRig 4977 HawkLock Quick Release Cage is designed specifically for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II, offering robust protection and a versatile range of expansion interfaces. The camera is secured with a single 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two positioning blocks on the sides, complemented by built-in silicone pads to prevent scratching.

  • Integrated HawkLock Quick Release Interfaces: Enables quick and secure one-touch attachment with a patented self-locking mechanism, eliminating the need for additional bracing.
  • Arca Swiss Quick Release Base Plate: Allows direct attachment to Arca-type tripods and DJI stabilizers (RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro) for seamless transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups.
  • Multiple 1/4"-20 Threaded Holes: Double threaded holes on the side and multiple mounting points on top and sides for extensive accessory compatibility.
  • Three-Point Locking System: Ensures secure and stable camera mounting.

Unobstructed Camera Access

The cage provides full access to all camera buttons, slots, screen, battery compartment, and other interfaces, ensuring no interference with camera operation.

  • Equipped with H21 NATO rails on top and sides for quick attachment of accessories such as top handles (IDs 4483, 3766), monitor mounts (ID 2904B), and magic arms (ID 3874).
  • Supports side handles (IDs 2093, 4346), monitor brackets, Manfrotto ground plates (IDs 1280, 2458), L-shaped mounting plates (ID MD4360), and more.
  • Right side features double horizontal 1/4"-20 threaded holes for tripod attachment (ID 3989), enhancing stability during vertical shooting.

  • Standard strap slots compatible with wrist straps (IDs 3848, 2456).
  • Innovative downward-hanging strap slot for additional lens protection.
