NiSi Athena Prime Cine Lens Set (8 Lenses) RF-Mount
The NiSi Athena Prime Cine Lenses offer a comprehensive focal length range from 14mm ultra-wide angle to 135mm portrait, suitable for diverse shooting scenarios and subjects. These prime lenses feature consistent T-stop ratings across all focal lengths, optimized for smooth bokeh effects.
Aperture Specifications:
- 14mm lens: T2.4
- 18mm lens: T2.2
- 25mm, 35mm, 40mm, 50mm, 85mm lenses: T1.9
- 135mm lens: T2.2
Designed with a large 46mm image circle, these lenses support full-frame and large-format sensors. The series is available in multiple mounts including Canon RF, ARRI PL, Sony E, Panasonic/Leica L, and Fuji G. They feature ultra-low chromatic aberration and enhanced micro-contrast for superior image quality.
Optical and Mechanical Features:
- Minimized focus breathing to maintain consistent field of view when focusing from minimum distance to infinity.
- Proprietary rear filtration system with Drop-In filter mounts on RF, L, G, and E mounts (E-mount available with or without Drop-In filter), and rear filters on PL mount.
- Note: Sony FX9 cameras cannot use the E-mount with Drop-In filters.
- Use of Drop-In clear filter (RF, L, G, E mounts) or rear filter (PL mount) is essential for achieving infinity focus and clear images; these filters are weather sealed.
- Uniform lens weight across the set eliminates the need for gimbal rebalancing when switching lenses.
- All lenses except the 14mm share a 77mm front filter thread.
- Matched aperture and focus rings with 0.8 mod gears compatible with follow focus and matte box systems.
- Focus rotation of 300° with fluorescent focus scales in both imperial and metric units for precise focus pulling.
Additional Accessories:
A NiSi 77mm close-up lens (sold separately) can be used to reduce minimum focus distance and enable macro photography effects.
