NiSi Athena Prime 135mm T2.2 E-Mount Cine Lens

NiSi Athena Cine Lenses Range

The NiSi Athena Prime 135mm T2.2 E-Mount Cine Lens is part of the versatile Athena Cine Lenses series, which spans focal lengths from 14mm ultra-wide angle to 135mm telephoto. This range covers super-wide to portrait focal lengths, making it suitable for diverse shooting scenarios and subjects.

• Consistent T-stop ratings ensure uniform exposure across all focal lengths.
• The 135mm lens features a maximum aperture of T2.2, enabling soft bokeh and beautiful background separation.
• Supports full-frame and large-format sensors with an impressive 46mm image circle.
• Available in multiple mounts, including Sony E-Mount for this model.
• Ultra-low chromatic aberration and micro-contrast control deliver superior image quality.
• Designed to minimize focus breathing, maintaining a consistent field of view from minimum focus distance to infinity.

Proprietary Rear Filtration System

This lens incorporates NiSi's Drop-In filter mount system for enhanced creative control. For the Sony E-Mount version, there are options with and without Drop-In filters. It is important to use the Drop-In clear filter to achieve infinity focus and clear images.

NiSi also offers weather-sealed Drop-In filters to ensure durability in various shooting conditions.

Consistent and Convenient Design

• The 135mm lens shares the same weight and 77mm filter thread as other Athena Prime lenses (except the 14mm), allowing easy lens swapping without rebalancing on gimbals.
• Matched aperture and focus rings across the lens range provide a consistent user experience.
• Features 300° focus rotation with fluorescent focus scales in both imperial and metric units for precise focus pulls.
• Standard 0.8 mod focus and iris gears are compatible with common follow focus and matte box systems.
• An optional NiSi 77mm close-up lens (sold separately) reduces minimum focus distance for macro effects.
