Proprietary Rear Filtration System
This lens incorporates NiSi's Drop-In filter mount system for enhanced creative control. For the Sony E-Mount version, there are options with and without Drop-In filters. It is important to use the Drop-In clear filter to achieve infinity focus and clear images.
NiSi also offers weather-sealed Drop-In filters to ensure durability in various shooting conditions.
Consistent and Convenient Design
- The 135mm lens shares the same weight and 77mm filter thread as other Athena Prime lenses (except the 14mm), allowing easy lens swapping without rebalancing on gimbals.
- Matched aperture and focus rings across the lens range provide a consistent user experience.
- Features 300° focus rotation with fluorescent focus scales in both imperial and metric units for precise focus pulls.
- Standard 0.8 mod focus and iris gears are compatible with common follow focus and matte box systems.
- An optional NiSi 77mm close-up lens (sold separately) reduces minimum focus distance for macro effects.
