- T-stop ratings ensure consistent exposure across all focal lengths.
- Maximum apertures: T1.9 for 25/35/40/50/85mm lenses, T2.2 for 18mm and 135mm lenses, and T2.4 for 14mm lens.
- Wide aperture enables soft bokeh for beautiful background separation.
- Impressive 46mm image circle supports full-frame and large-format sensors.
- Available in ARRI PL, Canon RF, Sony E, Panasonic/Leica L, and Fuji G mounts.
- Ultra-low chromatic aberration and micro-contrast control for superior image quality.
- Designed to minimize focus breathing, maintaining consistent field of view when focusing from minimum distance to infinity.
Proprietary Rear Filtration System
The Athena Prime lenses feature a Drop-In filter mount system for enhanced creative control. Mount-specific filter configurations include:
- RF, L, and G mounts have Drop-In filter options.
- Sony E-Mount available in versions with and without Drop-In filters.
- ARRI PL mount uses a rear filter.
Note: Sony FX9 cameras cannot use the E-Mount version with Drop-In filters. It is essential to use the Drop-In clear filter on RF, L, G, and E mounts and the rear filter on PL mount to achieve infinity focus and clear images.
NiSi offers weather-sealed Drop-In filters for durability in various shooting conditions.
Consistent and Convenient Design
- All Athena Prime lenses (except 14mm) share the same weight and 77mm filter thread, allowing easy lens swapping without rebalancing on gimbals.
- Matched aperture and focus rings across the lens range.
- 300° focus rotation with fluorescent focus scales in both imperial and metric units for precise focus pulls.
- Standard 0.8 mod focus and iris gears compatible with common follow focus and matte box systems.
- Optional NiSi 77mm close-up lens (sold separately) reduces minimum focus distance for macro effects.
