- Ultra-low chromatic aberration and enhanced micro-contrast deliver superior image quality.
Optical and Mechanical Features
- Minimized focus breathing maintains consistent field of view across focus distances.
- Matched aperture and focus rings across the lens series for uniform handling.
- 300° focus rotation with fluorescent focus scales in both imperial and metric units for precise focusing.
- Standard 0.8 mod focus and iris gears compatible with follow focus and matte box systems.
- Consistent weight and 77mm filter thread size (except 14mm) allow easy lens swapping without rebalancing on gimbals.
Proprietary Rear Filtration System
The Athena Prime lenses feature a Drop-In filter mount system for creative flexibility. The E-Mount version is available with or without the Drop-In filter option; this product is the version without the Drop-In filter.
- Note: Sony FX9 cameras cannot use E-Mount lenses with Drop-In filters.
- Use the appropriate Drop-In clear filter or rear filter depending on the mount to achieve infinity focus and clear images.
- Weather-sealed Drop-In filters are available separately from NiSi.
Additional Accessories
NiSi offers a 77mm close-up lens (sold separately) to reduce minimum focus distance and enable macro effects.
