The NiSi Athena Prime Cine Lens 18mm T2.2 RF-Mount is part of a versatile cine lens series covering focal lengths from 14mm ultra-wide angle to 135mm portrait, suitable for a wide range of shooting scenarios and subjects.
- Maximum aperture of T2.2 for the 18mm lens, ensuring consistent exposure and allowing for creative depth of field control.
- Impressive 46mm image circle, compatible with full-frame and large-format sensors.
- Available in multiple mounts including Canon RF, with ultra-low chromatic aberration and enhanced micro-contrast for superior image quality.
- Designed to minimize focus breathing, maintaining a consistent field of view when focusing from minimum distance to infinity.
Proprietary Rear Filtration System
This lens features a Drop-In filter mount system, providing filmmakers with greater creative control. For the RF mount, a Drop-In clear filter is required to achieve infinity focus and clear images. Weather-sealed Drop-In filters are also available for added protection.
Consistent and Convenient Design
- All NiSi Athena Prime lenses share similar weight, eliminating the need for rebalancing on gimbals when switching lenses.
- Standard 77mm filter thread (except 14mm lens) allows easy use of filters and accessories.
- Matched aperture and focus rings across the series with 300° focus rotation and fluorescent focus scales in both metric and imperial units for precise focus pulls.
- Standard 0.8 mod focus and iris gears ensure compatibility with common follow focus and matte box systems.
- Optional NiSi 77mm close-up lens (sold separately) can reduce minimum focus distance for macro effects.
