NiSi Athena Prime Cine Lens Set Add-On (3 Lenses) RF-Mount
The NiSi Athena Prime Cine Lenses provide a versatile range of focal lengths from 18mm to 135mm, covering wide-angle to portrait perspectives, ideal for diverse shooting scenarios and subjects. These lenses feature T-stop ratings ensuring consistent exposure, with maximum apertures of T1.9 for 40mm, and T2.2 for 18mm and 135mm lenses, allowing for soft bokeh and beautiful background separation.
They offer a 46mm image circle, compatible with full-frame and large-format sensors. Available in Canon RF mount, these lenses deliver ultra-low chromatic aberration and micro-contrast control for exceptional image quality with fine detail.
The Athena Prime lenses minimize focus breathing, maintaining a nearly constant field of view when adjusting focus from minimum distance to infinity. They incorporate a proprietary rear Drop-In filter system for creative flexibility. Note that Sony FX9 cameras cannot use E-Mount lenses with Drop-In filters.
- Use the Drop-In clear filter on RF mounts to achieve infinity focus and clear images.
All Athena Prime lenses have similar weight, enabling easy switching without rebalancing on gimbals. Except for the 14mm lens, all share a 77mm filter thread and matched aperture and focus rings. They feature 0.8 mod focus and iris gears compatible with follow focus and matte box systems. Fluorescent focus scales in imperial and metric units support precise focus pulls.
Additionally, a NiSi 77mm close-up lens (sold separately) can reduce minimum focus distance for macro effects.
